New Blog Site

I have been working on starting a new blog site because I am to cheap to pay blogger for extra space. My new blog site is....

www.capizzis.blogspot.com

I haven't quite figured it all out because it is a new version from what I have been used to using, so it is a work in progress. I started with 4 different posts and will add more as time allows.

Check it out!

No more space

I have been told by blogger that I have no more space left to post pictures and that if I want to continue to post I will have to pay for more storage. I had no idea that I only had so much space. Has anyone else had this happen?

Camping Trip At Tony Grove

Over labor Day weekend we went camping up to Tony Grove Lake. Kristie and Jason joined us along with Megan and her family.

Lincoln sitting by the lake

Megan and her kids

Phil hiking along the lake

Grandma and Lincoln

Sharon and Phil

I love to sit by the lake and read. I could sit there for hours! So peaceful.

The beautiful Tony Grove Lake

Getting their feet wet

Zoe loved collecting rocks out of the lake

We went to the Pickelville Playhouse and watched the play "Bandito". It was halarious!

Slumber Party at Grandpa and Grandma's

On Saturday, September 11th after attending the State Fair, Phil and I went and picked up Emma and Erika so they could come to grandpa and grandma's for the weekend. They love to play with their cousins' Zoe and Lincoln so we called and invited them to come over to play.

The girls love to have a tea party when they are together so that was one of the first things on the agenda.

Emma entertained everyone with a puppet show of barnyard animals

Lincoln found a box lid to play in while the girls had their tea party

Then he went in and sat on grandpa's lap while grandpa played on the computer

They traced each others hands and scribbled on paper

And of course we can't come to grandma's without playing the piano al least 20 times

There were plenty of hugs to go around

And Jezzi was always right there in the middle of the excitement

Erika dressed up like a princess and gave us all a fashion show

Such a beauty!

Grandpa brought home chicken nuggets from Wendy's and we all had a picnic on the deck

Erika showing me her chicken nugget

Emma showing me her owie on her elbow

Then frosties for dessert as we watched Dora

Zoe needed her own space during our picnic so she ate her dinner on the couch

Then we had a treasure hunt in the garden to find all the ripe vegtables to pick

The girls loved this activity!

Here is part of the result of their harvest

Then it was time to wind down and relax a little after playing hide & seek

Erika snuggled up on the couch

We had a great weekend! We sure do love these guys!

Indoor Fun On A Stormy Night

Zoe and Lincoln came over to play with Grandma and Grandpa for a few hours this week while mommy and daddy had a break. It was storming outside so we had to stay indoors to play all evening.

We read lot's and lot's of books to each other

Zoe loved pretending to read to Lincoln. She was so dramatic!

We played with Jezzi

Zoe brought her new doll over that her Grandma McFadden gave her. She is such a good mommy.

We primped in the mirror

Zoe is such a girl!

We shared fruit snacks

Pretended to paint the closet door

Ate sherbet icecream push-up's

Waited for Grandpa to come in from outside, calling over and over, "Pappa, where are you?"

And getting quite the surprise when grandpa sneeked in the back door and came up behind Zoe and Lincoln. They laughed so hard! Grandpa is such a tease!

We played hide and seek for over an hour. I didn't think the kids would ever get sick of this game! Even Lincoln tried to hide, but it was always out in the open in full view. Such a cutie!

And then, when the storm finally ended, we watched the rainbow and identified all the pretty colors. It was a fun filled night even though we were not able to play outside.

PHOTO SHOTS

We decided to take some pictures while the kids were over. Here is the results...............

I love the look of Zoe's face here. It reminds me so much of Megan at this age

Love these kids!
